We are currently looking for exceptional people to join our team and have a great opportunity for a Food and Beverage Supervisor.
As the Food and Beverage Supervisor you will be expected to support the Food and Beverage Manager with the day-to-day food and beverage operation throughout the hotel, ensuring the highest level of service is offered to all guests.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- To supervise and assist in the correct service of food and beverage operations of the hotel.
- To supervise the activities of the Food and Beverage team members, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and performing duties to a high standard
- To be familiar with the days business, so that you can prepare the team, the department and be ready for action
- To serve food and drinks and give excellent customer service, being a role model to the team demonstrating great hospitality
- To have a visible presence within the hotel to ensure that all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively and to keep all areas clean and tidy at all times
- To deal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
- Training and motivating Team members.
- Ensuring all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out correctly.
- Ensure departments are meeting set criteria, through confirming that all employees consistently achieve product and hospitality service standards.
- To ensure all documentation, including checks and bills are completed as necessary and carried out as per the Hotel and Company Standards
- Ensure that Company and legal standards for cleanliness are maintained within all food and beverage areas.
- Support the Food and Beverage Managing in encouraging and developing the food and beverage team.
Requirements of the role:
- Supervisory experience or be a strong Restaurant / Bar team member looking to take on additional responsibility
- Great communication skills so you can chat to our guests and of course the team
- Flexibility – to enjoy working different shift patterns and seeing the operation on different days of the week including the weekends as well as mornings, or evenings (no split-shifts here)
- The ability to recognise what our customers want and need and be able to provide it
- Good people skills – to work well in a team - we want work to be fun for all of our employees
- Have a genuine interest in providing hospitality to our customers
- Confidence with systems and taking payments
- To be able to work well under pressure at times and multi task in a fast paced environment
- Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints
