Richmond Park Hotel is centrally located in the quiet coastal town of Bo’ness on the Firth of Forth, just a 20 minute drive from Edinburgh. Our Copper Kiln Restaurant takes a contemporary twist to classic Scottish dishes. With a real pride for authentic hospitality and genuine service, guests can expect seasonal menus which reflect the best produce available both locally and nationally. We work closely with our regional partners Castle Game to champion our Estate to Plate range.
The Job:
We are seeking a hands-on manager to control all the food and beverage outlets within the hotel. The ideal candidate will be a true people person, that thrives on a challenge, loves to be part of future developments and evolving a business.
It is truly exciting times here at the Richmond Park and we are seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to assist our senior management team to achieve the future potential, evolve the business and achieve our vision.
This will be a key management role within the hotel, reporting direct to the General Manager.
Job Specific Accountabilities:
To develop, motivate and support your team.
To achieve food & beverage revenue targets and profit conversions.
To plan and manage staffing levels within agreed budgets.
To ensure a robust training plan implemented to include job specific and mandatory training.
Able to perform Hotel duty management shifts on a rota basis.
To ensure regular feedback given to the team through reviews, coffee chats or performance review meetings.
Ensure smooth running of all food and beverage departments (Restaurant, bars and event space)
Create a customer responsive culture within the team and hotel.
Effective management of the hotel POS system, to include updates, staff training and reporting.
To effectively recruit, coach and develop the team.
Create positive working relationships across all food and beverage teams.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
