IKEA Food team in Lakeside are looking to welcome fast-paced and hardworking Food & Beverage assistants to join and play a big part in our multi-skilled team.
Prior experience in food is desirable, but not essential, all you need is a roll up your sleeve mindset to the various tasks & challenges that present themselves.
FRONT OF HOUSE
As a front of house team member, you are the face of our IKEA food team providing excellent service to our fantastic customers!
We are looking for people who are passionate about food and great service. You will be working across our Customer Restaurant and our Swedish food market/ Bistro where no two days are the same. The role will involve serving our customers, processing payments for food orders and keeping the department clean and tidy, we work hard but have a fun time whilst doing it!
Due to health and safety you must be over 18 for this role.
Expected Starting Date: 29th July 2023
WHAT WE OFFER
12 hours per - weekends only,
16 hours working 4 days per week, includes weekends, where you will get one weekend of in 4
24 hours working 5 days per week, includes weekends, where you will get one weekend of in 4

This is an extremely fast paced working environment and requires you to multitask, producing and serving food with regular heavy lifting.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Food Co-worker, you will report to one of the Food Managers or Team Leaders and work alongside them in the various areas in the department to help create a safe, healthy, delicious, sustainable, affordable, and joyful food experience for both the customer and the co-worker.
