We are currently seeking a Assistant Food and Beverage Manager with Events and Restaurant Experience to join our F&B team. Guest service, proactivity and positivity are what we are all about. We are looking for a Supervisor who can be hands on and motivated to lead the team with an infectious personality.
Experience as a Manager/ Senior Supervisor within Restaurants and Events is a must with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. This role is Full Time, 40 hours per week, various shifts, 5 days over 7. Salary DOE.

The Role:
- Delivery of exceptional customer service, providing an engaging and informative service.
- To review ratings on feedback websites, communicating to the team and improving on performance.
- To drive service and lead the team on daily task completion, providing follow up and constructive feedback.
- A competent knowledge of a range of beverages, inclusive of cocktails, wines and spirits (WSET qualification would be highly advantageous).
- A strong sales focus taking the opportunity to upsell as per your recommendations and menu pairings.
- Completion of preparations connected with opening and closing procedures.
- Ability to review and report on popularity of menu items, providing feedback to the F&B Manager.
- Training the staff on service standards inclusive of Breakfast / Bar / Restaurant Service and Till Operation.
- Taking responsibility for H&S with strong emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene practices (knowledge of bar line cleaning is highly desired).
- Placing orders for equipment, crockery and glassware.
- Reconciling and organisation of stock deliveries.
- Stock take preparations and assistance.
- Waste management, reporting and control of measures.
- Cellar Management
- Awareness of licensing laws and regulations (full training provided).
- Attendance at Operations Meetings in the absence of the F&B Manager.
- Follow up on receipt of BEO / Function sheets and putting preparation into motion.
- Ensuring presence and smooth running of the Restaurant and Events, directing the team as required.
- Liaising with all departments and bridging communication with the Events and Kitchen teams to ensure a smooth operation.
- Assisting the F&B team with any ad hoc tasks inclusive of event set up preparations.
