Overview: In a Food and Beverage position with Cedar Point, you will prepare and serve food to all park and Resort guests. Positions are available throughout our in-park Food and Beverage locations, our Resort locations, and within the Food and Beverage Catering Team. How You'll Make A Difference: Barista – Contributes to Starbucks’ success by providing our guests with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and helping maintain a clean and comfortable store environment. Cook and Kitchen Associate – All culinary/kitchen associates will handle various tasks such as prepping quality food products, presenting them in an attractive fashion based on prescribed company recipes, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Dishwasher – Maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards for glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc. and ensures the dishwashing area is clean, safe, and sanitary. Food Team Member – Preps and serves food to all park and Resort guests. Operates cash registers while providing superior guest satisfaction and quality service in a clean and safe environment. Provides hosting duties at Restaurant locations as well as set-up, clean-up and food prep catering duties for special group events. Food Preparer – Assists the kitchen staff in preparing and expediting various ingredients and products as well as preparing food for guests. Leadership - Works in a supervisory role to lead Food and Beverage teams to execute successful operations. Oversees operations by monitoring the business needs for staffing, inventory, and cleanliness while training, motivating, evaluating, developing, and coaching associates and promoting a positive culture and FUN environment. Sous Chef – Prepares various food items and products according to prescribed company recipes. Also responsible for all aspects of the kitchen and learning menu items, portions, garnishes, and prices. We're Looking For: Must be at least 14 years of age (Food Team Member) Must be at least 16 years of age (Dishwasher, Barista, Food Preparer, and some Leadership roles) Must be at least 18 years of age (Cook and Kitchen Associate, Sous Chef, and some Leadership roles) Mandatory completion of Basic Food Safety and Sanitation Training and, if applicable, ServSafe Alcohol Training as provided. Ensure all product temperature controls are met, all safety equipment is being used properly all while following Board of Health regulations Must be comfortable to stand for extended periods of time and work in a wet, warm, and humid environment at times Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial lawShow more
