We are a 4* Nottingham city centre hotel looking to recruit an individual into our food and beverage team.
There are approximately 20+ hours available per week which would be split over various days.
As a food and beverage general assistant you will find yourself working varied shifts and sometimes split shifts. These shifts can be working during our breakfast hours. The breakfast shift can require an individual to start as early as 05:30 / 06:00. The breakfast shift can then finish at 11am or should there be conferences on in the hotel the shift may continue until midday or even 1pm / 2pm.
You may also be required to work upon our bar where bar shifts start from 15:00 and usually finish at 23:00. Bar shifts can finish later at midnight or 1am on occasions where there are 'party nights' booked in our conference rooms such as Christmas party's.
The individual must pride themselves on excellent customer service who has the ability to make guests in the hotel feel welcome at all times. They must also take pride in their appearance, be able to work on their own as well as part of a team and have excellent time keeping skills.
Shifts worked can be any day of the week, Monday - Friday so a fully flexible individual will be required. Please also note as a hotel we never close and will be open every day of the year. This includes Christmas day.
The wage for this position is minimum wage which will depend on your age. This can be from £6.83 to £9.50.
