About the Role
Our award-winning Food and Beverage Team have exciting opportunities for Resort Associates to join our team on a flexible basis, for our upcoming 2023 season. These are excellent opportunities to develop your communication, customer service and organizational skills whilst also gaining valuable Food and Beverage knowledge, as our associate development is key to our success.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist our Food and Beverage Management Team in creating magical dining experiences for all guests at our resort
- Ensure your department is always ready for service and gain knowledge of all styles and sequences of service
- Gain an understanding of menu compositions and provide advice to guests on dining selections
- Be continually aware of opportunities to increase sales through offering beverages, desserts and high profit items
- Be familiar with all facilities across Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa
- Be conversant with all H&S, accident reporting, first aid and fire evacuation processes
About You
You will be a polite, friendly and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working as part of a team and is eager to learn. Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service skills are essential for this role. Ideally, you’ll have working experience within a Food and Beverage role however, full training is provided.
Salary
This is a casual opportunity where flexible shift patterns are offered, within our Conference and Events Team. Our shift patterns will be discussed during interview however, all roles have an element of weekend working. A competitive hourly rate up to £11.77 per hour is offered, depending on your experience, along with TRONC and a vast range of associate benefits.
