Job description

The Hotel Folk are looking for friendly and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistants (waiting staff) to join our friendly team at The Brudenell Hotel, Aldeburgh.

We are looking for both part and full-time team members and have varying hours on offer. You will need to able to work a mix of early, late and weekend shifts on a rota basis.

We pay the national minimum wage dependant on your age. Upon joining the company however, you will be given a tailored training programme, and should you be aged between 16 – 22, this mean’s your pay could increase to £8.00 per hour (16–20-years old) or £9.50 per hour (21 – 22 years old) once you have passed your probation.

As a Food & Beverage Assistant (waiting staff) you will provide courteous, efficient and knowledgeable service to our guests and ensure that presentation and cleaning standards are achieved and maintained in our Restaurant and Bar areas. Previous waiter or waitress experience is preferable, but not essential as full training will be provided.

Key tasks include:

· Having a keen attention to ensuring customer satisfaction in our restaurant and outside dining areas

· Being knowledgeable in the content of each menu, to be able to correctly advise Guests on this.

· Able to take orders accurately in a friendly and confident manner

· Ensure that restaurant tables are laid out correctly
