MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
- Ensure that our guests receive prompt and friendly service
- Possess accurate product knowledge of both food and beverage items
- Act as a final check on the quality of food and beverage items before they are served to the customer
- Practice correct cash handling procedures
- Aid in minimising costs of sales by accurately pouring liquor as stated in the recipes
- Keep the food and beverage areas and surrounding areas clean, tidy and organised
- Perform all opening and closing duties
- Assist management in maintaining standards by reporting any problems in the food and beverage areas
- Notify management of any specific guests needs or problems
- Accurately count any inventories that need to be done
- Lead by example by always displaying a high level of professionalism and integrity at all times
- Always inform a manager when leaving the floor, for any reason
Physical
- Be able to perform duties that require standing and exerting fast paced mobility for periods of up to eight hours or longer
- Be able to clearly speak and listen attentively to all guests and staff in loud conditions
- Be able to perform duties which require speed, efficiency and organisational skills
- Be capable of performing duties which require bending, kneeling and reaching
- Be capable of performing duties which require the lifting and carrying of items (ice bins, cases of beer/liquor, kegs etc) weighing up to 20kg
- Be able to demonstrate proficiency in the use of computerised point of sales systems and handling of all forms of money
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour
Day range:
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- catering: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
