As one of the North East’s premier venues we are looking for friendly, trustworthy and motivated individuals to assist in the delivery of our food & beverage services within the Stables Restaurant and the Hall.
Food & Beverage Assistant: Your role and responsibilities
· Be clean, smart and presentable during service.
· Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and serving food & beverages to guests in accordance with company standards.
· Handle payments in accordance with company procedures.
· Take responsibility for your designated section and ensure the smooth running of service.
· Assist in other areas as and when required.
· To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers.
· Be able to motivate yourself and others, ensuring you and the team has fun at work and are proud of your efforts.
· Ensure that all Health & Safety policies and food hygiene regulations are adhered to.
· Previous experience of working within a busy quality hotel/restaurant is preferred but not essential.
Reporting to the Stables Restaurant Manager or the Conference and Banqueting Manager, the role can be both part time or full time, based on shift work across a 7-day rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
