Job Title: Front of House (FOH) staff
Job Summary:
As a FOH staff member, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to restaurant guests and ensuring that their dining experience is pleasant, enjoyable and memorable. You will be the first point of contact for guests and will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, managing customer queries and maintaining the cleanliness and ambiance of the dining area.
Required Work Experience:
1. Prior experience in a similar position is preferred.
2. Experience in providing exceptional customer service is an added advantage.
Skills Required:
1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
2. Strong interpersonal skills
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
4. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders
5. Ability to multitask and manage multiple tables at once
6. Flexibility to work outside regular business hours
7. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and payment processing is desirable.
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Certification in food and beverage service or hospitality management is an added advantage.
