FLT Operative

We are currently looking to fill a position as a Loading Operative at our Chesterfield site. You will join us as a Loading Operative responsible for ensuring the effective running of the warehouse, loading trailers.

FLT Operative Responsibilities

• You are responsible for your own Health & Safety and the Health and Safety of your fellow employees.
• Ensure all data to be recorded is accurate and up to date.
• Ensure product is correctly labelled and packed.
• Driving forklift in any of the designated area’s in the factory to ensure the line is kept running and vehicles are loaded to meet customers’ requirements.
• Drive your work flow to ensure the team you are working with is working to a high standard and meeting targets.
• Ensure that trailers are shunted into bays in safely.
• Ensure quality guidelines are followed for all areas.
• Undertake flexible working hours to meet deadlines.
• Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by management.

FLT Operative Requirements:

• Team player who will work with others to achieve company goals/
• Hardworking with an ability to meet deadlines/
• Customer focused attitude.
• Ability to follow instruction.
• Forklift Licence (Counterbalance).
• Driving Licence.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Ability to drive a team.
