Job description
Are you a talented Floral Designer with proven experience, a love for people, and a desire to work in a busy retail environment? If so, we'd love to offer you the chance to join the Little Perth team this Spring/Summer.
Little Perth is a small family business bringing together our love for stunning florals, and speciality coffee. Across our two stores we offer customers a unique retail experience where they can watch our designers at work whilst they enjoy a slow brunch and coffee with friends! We're currently looking for an experienced florist to join us on a temporary basis (but with the potential to stay on a little longer)...
The right candidate will...
- Have a couple of years floral design experience (though we're flexible - don't hesitate to apply if you've got all the skills and enthusiasm but haven't been able to find the right experience. We know how hard it is finding a job in floristry!)
- Be an all-out team player
- Be happy to work to our Head Designer's briefs
- Be able to contribute creatively in a contemporary floral setting
- Be a customer service superstar who is driven by making peoples' days!
Salary will be dependent on experience, loads of additional training will be provided (including on speciality coffee & hospitality), and we'll absolutely consider freelancers.
* Please note, we will seriously consider short-term relocations for the right candidate and will do all we can to help the right candidate to do so in a reasonable timescale. Dorset is a pretty wonderful place to relocate to, or to spend a few months in boosting your cv! *
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 4 months
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week
Salary: £11.00-£12.50 per hour
