Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Floor Restaurant Bar Manager to join our popular, fast paced restaurant.

We are looking for passionate individuals with a positive spring in their step who strongly believe that the key to running a successful restaurant is by giving only the best food and service through a well developed and motivated team.

(In short) Our ideal Il Forno Bocconcini Bar & Restaurant Manager would be;

· Humble and friendly towards every guest, always looking for ways to make their experience with us even more memorable.

  • A genuine passion for the Italian cuisine and culture

· Ready and willing to roll their sleeves up and lead their team from the front.

· Flexible and able to work across all sections of the restaurant to support the team as much as possible.

· Able to provide support to the management team in planning for short, medium and long term successes.

· Passionate about the development and growth of their team members, always encouraging strong communication, sharing knowledge and best practice.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Our applicants must have;

· A minimum of 24 months experience in a management role within the hospitality sector.

· The ability to speak, read and understand English to a high level.

· Basic Food Hygiene level 2 and Health and Safety level 2 qualifications as a minimum.

· The ability to understand our back of house systems and to carry out internal audits.

· Adequate numeracy skills in order to complete daily financial activities.

Desirable;

· Full driving licence.

· Strong knowledge on forecasting and Profit and loss accounts.

· Personal Licence holder.

· Basic food hygiene level 3 and Basic Health and Safety level 3.
