EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our Potable Tank Team have an opportunity for you to join as a Flood Test Operative.
In this role You’ll be responsible for delivery of the potable tank flood testing programme and ensure all potable tanks receive the same level of care regardless of their purpose, size or location.
You’ll also monitor and maintain compliance with several stakeholders, complete flood tests to the required standard, highlighting all possible water risks.

Some of your other key accountabilities will include:
You’ll work with the Potable Tank Assurance Specialists, Tank Flood Testers and local Treatment Teams to deliver the annual flood test, inspection and cleaning programme. While ensuring remedial work flood testing is carried out safely and to the required standard.
Safeguarding the environment whilst carrying out remedial work, flood tests and cleans by ensuring that drainage of water and any repair products used do not cause damage to our assets, customer property or cause a breach of environmental regulations.
Proactively identifying gaps or blockers which could delay the programme and find solutions to these problems.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We’re seeking our new Flood Test Operative Manager to be comfortable with seeking out innovations, both in terms of new products and new processes, to drive efficiency within programme and further improve our water quality resilience.
You’ll ideally have knowledge of working on Potable Water tanks and systems, strong stakeholder management, hold relevant health and safety, environmental and quality qualifications.
It would also be beneficial if you have an understanding of the water distribution systems and process and I.T literate.
As this role requires travel, you must hold a full UK Driving License.
