Flexo Printer – Belfast

Our Client a leading printing company in the Belfast area have a requirement for a Flexo Printer to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
In this role you will:
· Perform daily equipment servicing, prioritizing health and safety, as well as conducting planned preventative maintenance, calibration, and servicing of all plant and equipment, building services, and grounds maintenance.
· Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure timely resolution of corrective actions identified through internal or external audits related to maintenance.
· Conduct health and safety audits, provide ongoing staff training on health and safety, and actively participate in the Hazard Analysis team.
· Execute print operations and take responsibility for ensuring the quality of the output.
· Monitor product quality throughout the print run, identifying non-conformities for removal during the finishing stages.
· Complete and endorse all relevant quality documentation.
The Person:
· Possess extensive technical experience and knowledge in operating Flexo presses with up to 8 colours, including tasks such as reverse printing, de-lam/realm, peel and reseal, and running product to turrets.
· Demonstrate problem-solving skills specific to Flexo presses.
· Adhere to all standard operating procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), maintaining health and safety practices, and ensuring hygiene protocols.
· Maintain a high standard of housekeeping procedures.
· Inspect printed products to assess print clarity, colour accuracy, adherence to job specifications, and customer requirements.
