An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experimented chef Band 3 to join the Catering Department. This is a flexibly employed post - ad hoc hours. Chef Band 3 Flexibly Employed Position The Catering Services Department of the Dorset County Hospital is seeking to employ a qualified Chef to join our team in providing a service to Patients, Staff and Visitors within the Trust. Early starts at 06.30 until 14:00 and late finish from 11.30 - 19.30, or 18:00 to 02:00 AM weekends and bank holidays working with enhanced pay (including Christmas & Easter) is required of the post . This is a flexible as and when position within Catering Services and would involve the successful applicants to work as part of a team cooking meals and dishes using where possible fresh / local ingredients. Qualifications to NVQ level 2 in Cookery / Catering, Level 2 or 3 Food Safety proven 3 years' experience within a central unit production/ industrial main kitchen / NHS catering environment is essential. The successful applicants would be able to demonstrate a desire for good food, cookery and customer care skills and be able to undertake on-line training.
