An exciting opportunity has arisen at Royal Mail to join as a Fleet Services Administrator.
About the role
The role will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks to support the Workshop manager and wider team. This will entail delivering to daily, weekly and monthly targets.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you'll provide full range of administration support to wider team, supporting FSM administration - emails and diary.
You'll use SAP management and PSP administration.
You'll data input to relevant systems/software eg Excel, Word, M5, in order to analyse and identify problematic issues. From you you'll maintain accurate and relevant data – including filing (electronic and hard copy).
You'll handle problems and issues effectively with a strong customer focus, extracting data for query resolution.
You'll liaise with internal and external customers and external suppliers, whilst maintaining strict compliance with Royal Mail health and safety procedures.
About You
In order to be successful in this role you will have the experience and skillset:
- Computer literate – preferably with experience in a range of software packages including M5, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc. (or a willingness to work towards)
- Good standard of organisational skills
- Able to demonstrate good team working skills
- Flexible approach and able to work on own initiative within a framework.
- Confident communication skills including telephone call handling and e-mail/written correspondence.
- PSP & SAP trained (or undertake training)
- Good standard of numeracy.
- Working knowledge of internal support functions, processes and systems for example finance and procurement procedures.
