About the role.
The Fleet Manager is responsible for ensuring a best-in-class standard for our clients eScooters in the streets and that our operation runs as smoothly, safely, and efficiently as possible by leading our fleet operations team in Bristol. In this role you will play an integral part in TGCC’s performance by combining people management with process improvement and execution. This will include:
- Ensuring best in class standard of our field operation by working with the team and client to identify the best way of delivering highest number of tasks e.g., battery swaps, re-location tasks within the city and collecting damaged vehicles.
- Ensure sites and assets are operated at the minimum cost and in an energy efficient way.
- Supervising and motivating the team and working hands-on with improving field operation, KPI’s and to ensure a high-quality standard on delivered tasks at minimal cost.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and structure the workflow in the field and warehouse, including shift planning, following up on key performance indicators and implementing standard operating procedures.
- Act as a safety role model and work actively to create and maintain a safe work environment.
- Be the point of contact for external parties e.g., Clients, landlord, suppliers, partners, HR & Health and Safety consultants.
- Collaborate with our HQ team in screening and interviewing new team members, owning their onboarding and training them on in-field tasks.
- Ensuring HR and Standard Operational procedures are implemented and executed.
- Take part in Weekly/Daily calls with both Senior Management, HQ and Client weekly calls.
What we expect from you?
- 2 years of previous work experience where of minimum 2 years managing teams.
- Previous managerial background with experience from performance management, particularly relating to absence management and disciplinary, capability and grievance matters
- We expect you to possess a strong working knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience building efficient staff Rotas and Rota patterns.
- Strong people management skills and ability to manage teams through Team Leader/ Supervisors.
- General knowledge of digital work tools (MS-office and G-suite)
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and ability to ensure our operations is in line with UK Health & Safety regulations.
- General understanding of business management, financial and leadership principles.
- Excellent communication skills, leadership training and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work autonomously without supervision adhering to our core company values of Reliability, Loyalty and Responsibility as well as Accountability.

Workdays: 5 out of 7 (Weekend availability required occasionally)
Work hours: Day mainly (Nightshift required occasionally)
Salary: £28,000
