Title: Logistics/ Fulfilment Administrator / Logistics Planner
We are currently looking for a transport administrator to join a fast paced logistics team in Marchwood.
The Role:
- As Transport Coordinator, you will perform various activities to support the company's distribution team
- You will be handling incoming and outgoing calls, responding to customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Record details of vehicle accidents and ensure these are escalated to line management
- Building and maintaining a strong partnership with the transport functions and drivers to ensure regular communication is delivered
- Drivers brief and de-briefing as well as accurate data entry of statistics, customer reports and KPI’S
What you will need:
- Knowledge of transport legislation preferable but not essential
- Strong administrative background with excellent IT skills including MS Apps; Excel and Word
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate with other team members and departments
- A strong background in multi-drop driver planning
The package:
Salary - £23,500 - £27,400 (Depending on experience)
This position will be temp to perm for the correct candidate
Monday - Friday
6am - 3pm
