Amazon is looking for an experienced Manager to lead our United Kingdon Imaging Services in producing world-class imagery for a diverse range of products. As a Manager for Imaging, you develop long-term strategic and financial plans and set goals to deliver against customer needs and scale in line with the business. You set metrics and measures of operational health and influences cross-functionally to address opportunity areas. As a part of the broader Imaging leadership team, you collaborate to define regional imaging solutions based on changing business priorities. You will be a thought leader who strategizes and enables your team to deliver industry-leading, trend setting imaging innovation for the customer. You will build strong relationships with business, technology, finance, external vendors and logistics partners, removing roadblocks for your team to ensure a world-class customer experience. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for leading all functions within the studio(s) and meeting operational goals and metrics, including overseeing operational and creative teams
  • Help define operational metrics, best practices and standard work globally to meet defined goals
  • Ensure teams are appropriately resourced to deliver against business and operational objectives
  • Create and manage budget based on forecast and target metrics
  • Anticipate changing priorities and implement plans (staffing, space planning etc.) to meet business needs
  • Oversee safety and loss prevention programs
  • Collaborate with peers, retail teams and other support functions to identify and implement improvements to the imaging creation process
  • Identify, leverages and shares imaging innovation at a regional and global level
  • Champion ways to leverage technology to improve the customer experience at scale
  • Create external partnerships with vendors/agencies to leverage resources and cost advantages, negotiating contracts as needed
  • Use customer feedback/data to identify and solve for complex imaging issues or opportunities
  • Anticipate customer needs and balance these requirements with the needs of the business
  • Provide industry expertise and build plans to differentiate the imaging experience for customers
  • Provides leadership, mentoring, training, development and performance management to Operational and Creative leaders

  • Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of workflow including prioritization, planning and task delegation under tight deadlines

  • Proficiency using multiple platforms and software to create/measure productivity and other operational metrics
  • Experience leveraging technology and process improvement methodology to drive continuous innovation and improvement
