We are looking for an experienced Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitting and assembling components and machinery, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring that all parts are correctly fitted and assembled. The Fitter must also have the ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other specifications.
- Assemble and install equipment and components according to instructions.
- Test and inspect equipment for proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Follow safety procedures when working with hazardous materials.
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 4 months
Salary: £32,752.00-£35,944.00 per year
