About Us
Rockliffe Hall is an AA-rated 5 red star resort in the north of England and is set within 375 acres outside the village of Hurworth, near Darlington in County Durham. We aim to provide an outstanding personalised service to each guest who stays, spas, golfs and dines and with us, acknowledging special occasions and making them memorable for all guests. We are currently seeking a Fitness Specialist to join Team Rockliffe!
The Role
The main responsibilities of the Fitness Specialist role will be (but not limited to):
- To provide a ‘best in class’ fitness experience promoting activity within the gym, kinesis and class studio
- To deliver an environment in which the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone using the facilities is the key focus of the team.
- Use Wellness System maximise member retention and recognise opportunities to promote the gym and fitness offer to spa day and hotel users.
- Use current guest and member journeys to provide outstanding service to all gym users.
- Respond promptly and effectively to all guest and member requests and queries.
- Continuity of standards of cleanliness with regards to presentation of the gym, kinesis and class studios
- Ensure accurate and up to date guest and member records are maintained.
- Develop and maintain excellent product knowledge and use it to deliver the benefits of the product to guests and members.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 Fitness qualification and have experience in working in high standard environment and will have a passion for driving the team forward.
