Job description
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and responsible Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in running a fish and chips shop.working with food budgets, and must enjoy serving others. The Chef will be responsible for cooking daily meals for our customers as well as prepping food as needed.The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and prioritise safety procedures when handling kitchen equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Do prep work, such as chopping and grinding.
- Wash and peel produce.
- Cut up meat, poultry, fish, and shellfish.
- Grill food in an oven or on a stove top grill.
- Monitor food while it is cooking to ensure that it reaches the proper temperature.
