Job description

Our client is looking for an Engineer with experience in DVB protocols and Transport Stream handling to write firmware for their range of products. This will entail communicating directly with the front end tuner module over an I²C bus, and be conversant with USB connectivity and signaling. This will probably start with ongoing support of their existing legacy products, using 8 bit microcontrollers, programmed in C, moving on to take on the full development of their new products. At the moment they do not use VHDL or FPGA technology, but are heading that way with future products, so expereince is these areas would be beneficial.
