We are now recruiting for Firefighter roles to assist and support our client’s delivery of critical services.
What you’ll be doing:
We are seeking firefighters to support the delivery of targeted prevention and protection activities, and through targeted fire safety campaigns improve people's awareness of fire and what to do in the event of a fire occurring. You will also form part of an effective and professional emergency response service that will respond to a range of incidents in order to reduce the impacts of an incident and restore normality as quickly as possible
What we’re looking for:
Have the right to work in the UK
Be required to undertake checks and references to gain Security Clearance
Have a good standard of physical fitness, which will be tested during the recruitment phase (Bleep Test - minimum of level 8.8 required, ladder and confined space drills)
Have and maintain high standards, whilst demonstrating good teamwork and strong communication skills
Work well under pressure and in challenging scenarios
Be prepared to undertake and pass academic assessments (English and/or Maths) and Situational and Behavioural tests during the recruitment phase.
