An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Firearms Administrator
This role requires the successful candidate to support the research and development officers in the receipt collation and distribution of applications and information received in the department. Further examples include providing guidance to the public, Police officers and other agencies, managing daily expiry lists to ensure certificate holders do not fall into illegal possession and you will use the National Firearms Licensing Management System (NFLMS) and other police systems on a daily basis.

Our location:
The department is based at Chelmsford Police Station in Chelmsford Town centre easily accessible by road and on public transport routes.
The successful candidate will be required to work from Chelmsford Police Station as and when required by the department. The department operates agile working, at the moment, so when not required agile working is available.
