About the role
ENGIE are recruiting for a Financial Services – Team Leader based in one of our UK offices (Newcastle, Leeds). This is a Permanent role, working full time Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Responsible for ensuring the accounts payable ledger is accurate and up to date.
- Maintain good working relationships with suppliers, projecting a professional image of the company.
- Day to day management of the accounts payable mailbox
Accounts Receivable
- Responsible for ensuring the accounts receivable ledger is accurate and up to date.
- Generation of monthly customer invoices
- Allocating customer cash and chasing any overdue balances appropriately.
Treasury
- Daily processing of cash transactions
- Processing and allocation of treasury clearing accounts.
- Reconciliation to group cash pooling account
Key Requirements
- Experience in managing accounts payable ledger
- Industrial/Utility experience as an end user
- Good Office IT skills such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Ability to support the development of MRO Maximo system and assist in upgrades when appropriate specialising in the contracts application
- Negotiate contract supply agreements with suppliers
- Previous SAP knowledge is preferable.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to understand what needs communicating and how, when and to who.
- Passionate to grow and expand the team with the objective of creating a Shared Service Centre in the UK.
