We have an exciting new opportunity for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join us in the Regulatory reporting team.
The objective of the Finance division is to manage every financial aspect of Santander in the most effective way, maintaining optimal relations with investors, regulators and supervisors. We are the engine that drives the areas and businesses from a financial perspective, to make Santander the best and most responsible open financial services platform and to help people and businesses prosper.
As the Financial reporting analyst you’ll be responsible supporting with the planning, preparation and reporting of the FINREP returns to the PRA and the Madrid FINREP reporting team.
The difference you’ll make.
Supporting with the preparation of FINREP templates submitted to the PRA and Global Head Office on a quarterly basis, working collaboratively with different Accounting and Reporting areas within Santander UK
Leading preparer of Encumbrance reporting, submitted to the PRA and Global Head Office on a quarterly basis
Preparing the submissions of smaller regulatory reports including PRA108 and FSA017 requiring close stakeholder management
Acting as the point of contact for Regulatory Consistency Reporting ensuring all controls are cleared and investigated in a timely manner, liaising with stakeholders around the business in London and Madrid
Managing challenges received from the Madrid FINREP reporting team, PRA and other external Regulatory bodies
Participating and supporting change activities including Strategic Projects and our own Continuous Improvement activities
What you’ll bring.
Qualified Accountant – ACCA/CIMA/ACA
A strong analytical individual who is proficient/advanced user of Excel – pivot table, Vlookups, macros
It would also be nice for you to have.
Background or knowledge of FINREP/ regulatory reporting standards
Working knowledge of Finance systems including FCCS, Cargabal and Fusion
Experience working within a Financial services
Self-management to deliver challenging deadlines with a strong desire for continuous improvement

This is a full time permanent position offering flexible working between home and the office.
