Job description

A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.

Who we are looking for An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate in the Financial Operations Payables team which ensures suppliers are paid to terms and expense claims are compliant with policy. They will report to the Payables Manager and work with a team of 5 people as well as an outsourced service provider. The role is offered as a permanent role

About the role

As a Senior Associate the individual should have a basic understanding of business, technical, analytical and possess commercial skills and be able to apply their knowledge to provide support to the Payables Manager and wider stakeholders including suppliers, claimants, financial approvers and Financial Operations Helpdesk. The individual should be enthusiastic to learn, able to prioritise, confident to communicate in both verbal and written forms and be a strong relationship builder. Previous experience of Source to Pay and Expense management systems is preferred.

The Senior Associate will play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager in the following areas:
  • Performance management
  • Performance improvement
  • Financial control and compliance
  • Building relationships and sharing knowledge
