About the role
First things first: you want to know what you're actually applying for. It's impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:
You´ll be responsible for designing Finance technology architectures for MEWS at the enterprise level across the full ecosystem.
This specific pathway is within Finance and will be primarily based from our Prague, Amsterdam, or London, on a Hybrid and or Remote basis.
✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it
- actively architect future state ERP Finance capabilities across all functional and related areas. Therefore, there is a need of a strong integration knowledge of peer functional modules of Business Dynamics and other associated modules and ability to design/understand the interfaces and other third-party systems
- lead and guide the evaluation and selection of technology architecture that aligns and drives current and future business across Finance, Accounting, Tax and Treasury capabilities across the enterprise
- act as an internal business consultant in the support of the company's evolving the Business Dynamics ERP capabilities and services
- define target architectures and provide vision, problem anticipation and problem-solving ability across all MEWS Finance landscapes
- lead a growing team
What's most important is your enthusiasm and passion to join us in disrupting the hospitality industry! However, if you're already equipped with a few of the below points, that would be pretty awesome
- demonstrate an educational background and 10-20 years of experience in systems development or engineering, as well as a solid understanding of business administration, finance, and accounting
- display previous experience and a keen interest in understanding legacy processes and infrastructure, with a focus on mapping out existing systems and pursuing new solutions that enable the automation of manual legacy processes
- possess a broad understanding of Finance as a domain, including ERP process areas, and ensure the implementation of standard and best practices in alignment with Business Dynamics and related environments
- exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, influencing favorable outcomes for technology, data, and process improvements
- provide guidance to the extended solution architecture teams in defining ERP architecture principles, policies, and standards. Additionally, lead the delivery of enterprise architecture for strategic business transformations and programs
- take the lead in driving the adoption of strategic Finance technologies and facilitating changes across all stakeholders, supporting strategic planning initiatives and fostering innovation
