The key objective of the role is to support the transformation of Santander’s Financial Crime programme with particular focus on development and maintenance of the Customer Due Diligence workflow process.
The role is fast paced, working with Agile project principles so is heavily collaborative and the candidate will be expected to apply both business and technical competencies to solving problems and delivering success
You will be supporting the definition of business and technical requirements and collaborating with technical and testing. The role requires stakeholder management skills to ensure successful engagement with both Business and Technical stakeholders
The difference you’ll make.
Supporting the creation and maintenance of business requirements including user stories / process flow designs
Supporting workshops, meetings and review sessions which identify & address gaps in risk and control management knowledge.
Accountable for understanding and assessing risks, and being able to apply a risk framework to the impact and potential mitigating controls proportionate to the level of risk
Ensuring key stakeholders approve designs and requirements prior to build
An understanding of the customer to ensure Financial Crime controls do not proportionally detriment the overall customer journey
Designing solutions that enable a smooth customer experience whilst mitigating Financial Crime risks.
What you’ll bring.
Knowledge and experience in the Customer Due Diligence/KYC area of Financial Crime
Experience in process design and business analysis
It would also be nice for you to have.
Understanding of the relationship between business requirements and technical solutions
Understanding of why data is critical to Financial Crime Prevention controls and able to draw meaningful business conclusions from data and undertake data analysis.
Ability to organize meetings
At least 3 years’ experience in a project environment is preferred.
What else you need to know.
It is a 15-month fixed term contract and it will be based in the MK office.
