What you’ll do
The Financial Crime Data Analyst will be responsible for optimising data required for all our Financial Crime MI requirements. The data analyst may also be required to support with maintaining systems associated to transaction monitoring, business & consumer sanctions screening.
The Financial Crime teams role is to deliver of a robust financial crime framework to ensure Vodafone meets its regulatory and legislative requirements. Insight driven MI is required to help promote and drive our financial crime culture and deliver good customer outcomes.
Maintain core systems that enable analytics team to undertake financial crime screening activities- Support engagement within the Credit Risk Financial Crime team and Compliance team through provision of MI data, reports and insight as required
- Support the design and delivery of our front end systems to ensure all financial crime risks are met
- Provide daily operational reporting looking at agreed SLA’s to ensure timely running of all financial crime worklists
- Manage administration activities of our front end systems
- Undertake screening activities, escalating issues identified in accordance with process
- Manage record keeping obligations. Ensuring adequate systems and controls are in place to demonstrate effective onboarding and ongoing screening and monitoring
- Provide financial crime input on new and existing products and services within credit risk and the wider finance function
- Strong Excel skills
- Preferable experience of programming in SQL & SAS
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
- Stakeholder management skills and the confidence to present own findings to senior members of the team
- Enjoyment of investigating across various different systems with strong attention to detail
- Keen interest in fraud and financial crime
