Job description

Our company is seeking a Financial Controller to work under an experienced Finance Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in financial management, financial reporting, and analysis. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our organisation and providing strategic financial guidance to our Finance Director mainly concentrating on cashflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure adequate funding for operations.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Proficient in financial reporting and analysis software such as Sage/Xero/Quickbooks
