JOB TITLE: Financial Planner and Analyst
REPORTS TO: Stafford Collection Owning Company Directors (Sister Business to Gallio)
POSITION SUMMARY
This position has responsibility for (i) financial analysis reporting and modelling (ii) commercial analysis and supporting commercial Business decision(s) across the Stafford Collection.
The role reports directly to the Stafford Collection Owning Company Directors and will support executive decisions on behalf of The Stafford Collection team – across all entities.
POSITION SCOPE
To assist the Owning Company in producing reports and analysis for review and decision-making purposes. To provide commercial and financial analysis that will drive the board and senior management decision-making to maximise financial performance in the short and medium term.
KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work with Directors to produce relevant reports and analysis relating to Owning company finances,
2. Work with Directors / Senior Management to model the longer-term financial outlook and ambition – relating to expansion of the Stafford Collection:
o 3 – 5-year financial projections with the capability to model ‘what-if’ scenarios and sensitivity
o Investment and cash/debt planning
o Consolidating expansion plans for the combined Stafford Collection entity
3. Assist in the development of business cases for specific investments, refurbishment projects and any new restaurant openings.
o Review of investment performance and identify learnings.
4. Develop commercial analysis to support Business Development strategies.
o Develop business cases for other revenue-generating or cost-saving initiatives on an ad hoc basis.
5. Assist in identifying business trends and building reports.
6. Ad hoc support to Directors and The Stafford Collection management team, as required
7. Continually develop reporting processes and systems to ensure key business factors are identified and analysed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education:
- Degree educated, preferred qualified accountant (CIMA / ACA) with relevant work based technical experience.
Experience:
- Preferably 3 - 5 years’ post qualification experience.
- Must be able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness as well as an excellent understanding of the retail industry.
- Multi-site retail or restaurant experience an advantage.
- Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Must be able to demonstrate advanced Excel capability, strong all around modelling skills and ability to adapt quickly to data tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
