In addition, the position will work cross functionally with Regional & Corporate Finance, Legal, Business Development, and Clinical Leadership in driving solutions to business problems at the intersection of finance and strategy.
- Produce Monthly Reporting for our financial partners detailing Profitability, KPI/Key Metrics, and Partner Synergies
- Maintain monthly forecasting and annual budget schedules for several cost centers across the organization; understand both financial and business drivers for variances against plan, forecast and prior period
- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of USACS’s Service Lines, Divisions, and Strategy
- Communicate the “Why” behind the financial numbers; assist our clinical leadership in driving efficient operations and avenues to profitable growth, with unwavering commitment to clinical quality
- Ensures internal customer satisfaction by developing trusted partnerships with our leadership team by sharing insights and engaging them in joint strategic planning and problem solving
- Create financial models showing scenario and sensitivity analyses to determine impacts on financial results, investment returns, and estimated future growth sizing
- Business and Financial Acumen - Deep understanding of value drivers of the organization and external factors impacting the business; Must be able to analyze financial results and assess financial/strategic impacts of business decisions
- Strong Excel and Financial Modeling skills - demonstrable skills using advanced functions such as SUMIF, INDEX, MATCH, VLOOKUP, and HLOOKUP is preferred
- PowerPoint skills sufficient to produce clear and compelling visual displays of data in support of telling the business story
- Comfortable communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in and ability to exercise considerable judgment, maintain confidentiality, and act in a diplomatic manner
- A well-organized and self-directed individual who can work with minimal amount of supervision, including ability to independently identify, research and resolve issues
- Bachelor’s degree with preferred specialization in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or another relevant field with analytical rigor
- 1-3 years of experience in support of finance decision-making including such areas as corporate finance, accounting, corporate strategy/consulting and business development
