Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Finance Analyst include:
- Analyse system requirements
- Identify areas for system improvement and automation.
- Assist with the design and implement information systems solutions.
- Evaluate and select software applications and technologies.
- Standardisation of SQL queries and reports
- Coordinate system implementations and upgrades.
- Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Provide user training and support.
- Ensure system integration and data exchanges.
- Stay updated on legal tech trends and recommend enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and generate reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for user feedback.
- Ensure data security and privacy compliance.
- Assist in budgeting and cost estimation.
- Participate in meetings and committees.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor-ship.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a Finance Analyst who has:
- Experience as a Financial Analyst within systems or it IT setting
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Working knowledge of SQL queries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Analytic and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new applications and technologies and assess potential
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
