Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis
Provide support for analysis of transactions processed, month end reporting and close process as necessary, including reconciliations
Prepare monthly support schedules and analysis as required
Other ad hoc business process and analysis support as required
Reporting
Ensure customer invoices are generated on a timely and accurate basis and distributed to clients.
Ensure outstanding receivables are collected in a timely manner
Ensure vendor expenses are timely and accurately recorded in the ERP and payments made accurately.
Teamwork
Keep team and supervisor up-to-date on matters and issues that would affect the financial records, department, and organization
Support business lines, operations, and corporate functions as necessary
Maintain finance process documentation.
Demonstrate a high level of customer service interactions with both external and internal clients/vendors
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
University Degree or College Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field of study
3-5 years related experience
Experience in MS Office Products, very strong Excel skills needed (will be tested in the interview)
Working knowledge of NetSuite and Workday systems would be an asset
Experience with IFRS would be an asset
Strong financial/analytical and organizational skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision, particularly in a work from home environment
Demonstrate sound judgment, critical analysis, and initiative in a fast paced, client-oriented environment
Demonstrate initiative and ability to suggest improvements and subsequent implementation
Be adaptable and work effectively in a changing environment
Strong customer relationship skills
Good verbal and written communication
