Financial Accountant
12 month fixed term contract
Up to £60,000 dependent on experience
Your role with us:
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will be based within The Royal Mint’s Central Finance function, focussed on financial accounting and the monthly performance reporting of the Royal Mint’s group entities.
We are looking for people who have:
- Professional working experience in a similar role
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Some technical knowledge and experience of working in tax (particularly VAT)
- Experience and knowledge of implementing and improving processes and procedures
- Demonstrable experience of general ledger accounting, with responsibility for maintaining the integrity of the balance sheet and resolving an issues
We are looking for people who are:
- ACCA or ACA qualified
- Able to support a finance team in providing financial analysis in a range of areas
- Experienced in processing day to day financial transactions and preparation of monthly management accounts
- Excellent communicator who can work collaboratively with Finance Business Partners
