JOB TITLE: Finance Transformation Manager, WEA

ROLE SUMMARY
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
The Finance Transformation Manager role is a Project role within Finance Function. It seeks to support automation and simplification process within different areas of Finance Function with the overall aim of creating efficiencies and adding value to the business.
What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?
The role is focused on building the infrastructure and modelling of various automated reports in Power BI tool in order to reduce the amount of manual work and complexity on relevant processes and create “one version of truth”. It should result in change in traditional ways of working, increased efficiency and reduction of workload across Finance function.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Added-value support for building the infrastructure for automation & simplification:
- Mapping existing processes;
- Identifying potential synergies and opportunities for simplification;
- Build source files for Power BI reports;
- Partner up with relevant stakeholders from other departments to facilitate input collection;
- Support building fully automated, purposeful Power BI reports;
- Ensure project activities are timely planned and executed and do not obstruct BAU activities;
- Support preparation of Project status update for Senior stakeholders
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL
Experience Required
Finance professional or MBA with experience within an FMCG organization or in Consulting (experience in a Digital focused business is an added advantage).- Professional finance qualification (e.g. CIMA) is desirable
- Should have already performed role of management and/or financial accountant or finance business partner;
- Fluent English.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
Solid commercial approach, and understanding of all functions within a FMCG company;- Power BI knowledge is required
- Knowledge and understanding of marketing principles and strategy, and market dynamics;
- Provider of financial insights regarding the impact of marketing strategies;
- Experience in setting and tracking of financial and marketing KPI’s ideally with focus on digital channel
- Experience of company planning process;
- Hands-on approach.
- Strong management and interpersonal skills;
- Proactive, persuasive, and creative by challenging existing, and introducing new ideas;
- Able to work with all levels of staff, both internal and external;
- Ability to manage under pressure and cope with a changing environment
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
- Degree or MBA in Economics / Finance
