Full time – 37 hours per week
£23,257 - £24,742 per annum

About the role
Have you ever thought about a career in Social Housing? We are looking for a conscientious, self-motivated team player who can be confidential and flexible in their approach to join our Finance Team. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, who is proactive and wants to help Broadland Housing Association make a difference in our tenants lives.
The main duties of the role are to participate in the day-to-day operational aspects of the finance team, including (but not limited to):
Effective operation of rent, sales, and purchase ledgers including receipts and payments.
Processing and distribution of financial information.
Preparation and processing of daily banking.
Build rapport and liaise with suppliers and third parties to ensure that payments are processed smoothly.
Supporting with the monthly payroll transactional process

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Experience in general accounting or purchase/sales ledger environment.
Experience in providing administrative support.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
A professional, efficient and personable manner.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
It would also be advantageous if you have knowledge of SAGE Accounts.
