Job description

We are seeking a self-motivated and responsible Finance Team Member. Full-time hours (40 hours per week) are available and part-time (min 30 hours per week) is also negotiable, but must be able to work 5-days a week. The Ideal Candidate will have strong organizational skills and a professional attitude.

The successful candidate will be involved in the following tasks:

Responsibilities:

· Not limited to the following - Creating Supplier POs, Processing Customer Invoices, Preparing Expenses, General Admin Duties, Employee Travel, Debtors Control, Checking job/contract folders.

· To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function, in line with the level of responsibility of the role to Support Financial Controller & Finance Team.

· Ensure all assignments comply with company, customer and industry standards and procedures. Evaluate current performance and provide strategic plans for improvements.

· Maintain clear and accurate documents relative to your tasks for reference purposes.

· Identify problems in financial processes and resolve them in a timely manner.

· Maintain all databases, logs, job files and systems relevant to your tasks.

· Support the Finance Team & Operations teams in developing the systems, processes and procedures to enable Titan's progress.

· To adhere to existing work practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternate systems

· Understand and implement the company’s quality and safety policies

To carry out any reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function in line with the level of responsibility of the role

Qualifications/Experience:

· Sage Accounting Experience preferred but not essential,

· Aspire Rental Software Experience preferred but not essential

· Similar employment in previous finance role (preferably oil & gas)

· Rental equipment experience (preferred)

Individual Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities:

· Understand the application of the Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974 and other legislation relevant to your role

· Attend training courses/seminars run by external sources where required

· Participate in emergency drills as require by Titan and/or our Customers

· Report all health and safety issues to the line manager

· Report all environment and service quality issues to line manager

Competence, Skills & Knowledge

· Strong organisational skills

· Ability to use computer applications effectively

· Efficiently communicate both verbally and in written form

· Comprehensive knowledge of HSE principles

Ability to share learnings and knowledge to drive & improve safety culture
