Job Description
At Lloyds Banking Group, we're inspired by a clear purpose - to help Britain prosper. We want to become the best bank for our customers as what we do makes a genuine difference to families, businesses and communities.
Finance is key to that success by securing and building the financial strength and performance of the Bank so we can help our 30 million customers.

  • Enrichment of data within the groups key reporting systems
  • Ensuring control over our numbers
  • Producing Regulatory returns
  • Completion of notes to the Annual Reporting Accounts
Initially you'd land in our Inter-Company team but there'll be opportunities to move about within other teams (e.g Banking, Trading etc) so you’ll learn new skills and be given opportunities to broaden your horizons and experience.
What you'll be doing...
  • Identification and remediation of breaks between entities within the Group
  • Enrichment of key reporting systems
  • Preparation and review of journals
  • Review of reconciliations in line with Group Minimum Standards
We’re a very supportive and well-regarded team. Full of good, collaborative, people who care about producing quality work and drive improvements wherever possible.
You’ll get genuine ownership and responsibility and can really help us drive the momentum we're building. And you’ll get to support the development of others whilst being supported yourself too.
We're seeking someone who is ready to take on a new challenge and continue their professional development in an exciting and rewarding environment.
About you
  • You'll be a dedicated finance professional ideally, but not essentially, with financial services sector experience.
  • You'll be actively studying, at the later stages, towards a professional Finance/Accountancy qualification or be newly qualified
  • You'll be a confident verbal communicator with an ability to influence at various levels.
  • Strong analytical skills and the passion to contribute to the success of the function are something we'd genuinely want to see in any applicant.
What you'll get in return...
Our Hybrid ways of working means that you can find that perfect work-life balance, with a mix of home and office working (2 days in the office hub).
We'd expect you to be living within a commute of our Edinburgh offices to accommodate this, and we'd be open to having a conversation about working patterns that might suit you.
We can also organise study support as part of our commitment to your development.
In addition to the salary quoted you'll also get:
  • Discretionary Performance Share Award
  • Generous pension contribution of up to 15%
  • Private health cover which you can extend to family
  • Share schemes, including free shares
  • 28 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 30 with service)
As a leading employer we embrace diversity and equal opportunity with industry recognition across gender, ethnicity, disability, LGBTQ+ and families. And, being disability positive, reasonable adjustments can be accommodated in our Recruitment process.
So if you possess the skills we’re seeking then get in touch, we’d love to hear from you...
