What you'll do


We're recruiting for a Finance Operations Manager to join our Revenue & Margin team at Vodafone UK. The Vodafone Business team delivers a large sum of revenue, offering both mobile & fixed services covering 1,500 accounts, including some of the biggest household names across the UK and globally.


As a Finance Operations Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Finance Operations Manager to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial results within our Corporate Mobile offering and work closely with Finance & Business stakeholders, conveying complex information clearly and concisely to senior management.


Wider responsibilities will also include:


  • Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of the month end timetable and accurate monthly revenue and cost of sales results.
  • Ensure that accounting records are kept appropriately, and that the reported results comply with accounting standards and relevant legislation.
  • Lead in presenting the monthly financial results to the Commercial Finance team(s).
  • Communicate in appropriate detail the analysis of the results, giving insight into the drivers.
  • Lead the month end wash up sessions, ensuring timely follow up of open actions.
  • Delivery of compliance of Sarbanes Oxley and Audit control documentation, while identifying opportunities for streamlining controls and maintaining an effective control environment.
  • Manage the risk and opportunity reviews.


Who you are


  • Demonstrable experience working to daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines will be essential.
  • Fully qualified in relevant field of Finance/Accounting (e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with a clear track record of translating ideas and information to all levels of seniority.
  • Builds relationships within and across departments with a collaborative and consultative mindset.
  • Adept in the utilisation of the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
