We are looking for a professional and conscientious individual to join the Finance team within Oxford Brookes Business School. As Finance Officer you will be responsible for carrying out the financial duties of the Business School in accordance with Faculty and University procedures and policies.
Applications are invited from individuals with experience in a similar role, and looking to further their skills in this field of work. This role will include a range of financial duties to include research and consultancy project administration, individual budget monitoring and analysis, administration of the Academic Workload Planning System, supporting the financial year end process and general day -to-day tasks.
You will be an excellent communicator with first class interpersonal skills, and as a team player, you will have an enthusiastic and positive approach to work. You will have proven organisational and communication skills, with a high level of competency with IT especially Excel & Google spreadsheets, and the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.

Candidates are usually appointed at the bottom of the salary range with a step pay increase until they reach the top of the salary scale.
