Description

The main responsibilities of our future Finance Manager is to support the business in financial and tax related tasks for the UK, including general accounting, system accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

As our new colleague, your responbilities are:

  • Preparation, review and publishing of monthly / quarterly / yearly statutory and group financial statements;
  • Ensures compliance with legal, financial and internal financial regulations such as local GAAP, local and international taxation and US GAAP (IFRS also acceptable);
  • Maintains actual and budget project status, liquidity forecast and other financial statements;
  • Follows up the actual vs budget comparison on a periodical basis;
  • Oversight of financial operations for projects including cost accounting, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting analysis;
  • Support Regional Finance Director and group reporting team on consolidation;
  • Ensures internal controls are timely performed with minimal supervision and according to group standards with regards to payment and purchase approvals, accurate timing of internal and external invoices and oversight for status of CPs (conditions precedent) in M&A contracts;
  • Ensures all group transactions are covered by the relevant agreements and group transfer pricing guidelines;
  • Supports business on ad-hoc tasks and financial due diligence requirements;
  • Prepares, reviews and closely works with stakeholders on local and group internal and external audits;
  • Coordinates external service provider such as tax advisors, auditors;
  • Responsible and accountable for the managing tax declarations, refund etc.;
  • Treasury activities of the country;
  • Maintains accuracy of inhouse accounting in cooperation with external accounting service provider and supports ERP implementation.

Requirements

Ideally you have:

  • At least at least 5 years of working experience in finance – accounting/audit experience is of advantage;
  • Leadership experience is an advantage;
  • At least bachelor degree (or equivalent working experience) in Accounting or General Finance;
  • Financial experience on a Group level consolidation;
  • Good knowledge of tax rules in UK;
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems;
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills;
  • Flexibility and multitasking.
  • Fluency in English language.
