Our client, a high-growth market innovator SME with a fun and flexible culture, is looking for a talented Finance Manager to join its expanding team. This is a great role that's come about as a result of internal promotion and will suit either a recently qualified ACA looking for their first move into a fast-paced, consumer facing industry, or an ACCA/CIMA who has worked in a similar environment, now looking for a step-up.

This is a pivotal role within the business, as they continue on a path for growth and change, working closely with the FC to manage all financial transactions and collaborate with various departments across the business, whilst leading a small team.

Main duties include:

• Leading month end accounting close, general ledger journals and consolidation of management accounts
• Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Accounting for payroll and associated taxes
• Stock valuation and reporting
• Weekly or monthly KPI outputs, including sales and margin by customer, product and channel
• Managing and developing onsite finance team, 2 direct reports with a wider team of 4 which is likely to grow
• Managing online banking system
• Supporting the preparation for yearend audit and half year interim accounts

Key skills & experience include:

• Fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Strong rounded accounting knowledge
• Attention to detail with strong communication skills
• Self-motivated and can demonstrate initiative
• Confident and credible character - can build relationships with non-finance stakeholders
