Twenty2 Recruitment are delighted to be working with a dynamic and growing business who are looking for a Finance Manager to join the team.
This is a brand new role and is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for growth and development potential within the role. The company is going through a continued period of growth and are looking for an experienced Finance Manager, who is hands on and can implement key finance processes and procedures and establish a team.
This role is remote with flexible working, as the company is mostly remote at present however they may look to establish a permanent office base in the West Midlands/Oxfordshire in time and occasional travel to the office may be required on an adhoc basis. Flexible working will continued to be offered.
Day to day responsibilities for the role include:
- Maintaining the Company’s financial records on a day to day basis
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Preparing accounts for year up to trial balance stage for submission to external Accountants
- Controlling debtors and chasing debts owed to the business
- Cashflow management and forecasting,
- Preparation of financial budgets
- Controlling trade creditors
- Preparing, reconciling and filing VAT Returns
- Reviewing and controlling Company Expenses
- Ensuring Company Sales Invoices are correctly prepared and issued as per agreed basis with clients
- Working to improve Company software automation
- Assisting Chief Commercial Officer where required
- In future managing a team of finance staff when necessary
What you will need:
- Experience working in a similar role, managing a finance function and day to day activities.
- ACCA/ACA OR CIMA part/ fully qualified. Candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered.
- Leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Experience using accounting systems.
- Good organisational and timekeeping skills.
- Flexible to the needs of business requirements.
- Good IT skills.
