Full responsibility for production of monthly management accounts, updated financial forecasts and year end statutory accounts.


Main duties and responsibilities

  • Ensuring monthly management accounts are accurate and delivered on time with variance analysis.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Suggest and Implement improvements to financial reporting.
  • Prepare Monthly Board and Investor reporting.
  • Oversee Purchase and Sales ledger transactions.
  • Cash flow forecast.
  • HMRC requirements (VAT, Corporation tax, PAYE).
  • Payroll – reviewing UK monthly payroll to ensure accurate and timely payment to employees, including payment of statutory deductions.
  • Assisting in preparing and delivering the annual budget.
  • External Audit – preparing accurate sets of statutory accounts, with backup schedules in accordance with the audit plan.
  • Internal Audit – managing the internal audit from the UK company.
  • Manage the UK Finance Team.
  • Actively participating in ad hoc projects for the team and company.

Applicants to this role require

  • Financial Accounting – full capability to produce management and statutory accounts.
  • CA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent qualification
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Financial accounting systems – ability to interrogate the system, maintain and produce reports
  • Strong accounting and financial analysis skills (5+ years’ experience)
