Finance Manager
Wembley, London (Hybrid) (2 days in the office)
Full Time, Permanent
£38,000 - £43,000 per annum
Tide are delighted to be partnering with a poverty-focused charity, who are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to manage all aspects of the charity’s finances. As the Finance Manager, you will work closely with the Deputy Director and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to lead financial planning, manage budgets and spending, and prepare quarterly management accounts.
Finance Manager responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of the charity’s finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Prepare quarterly management accounts and other financial reports for the SLT and the Board of Trustees
- Manage cash flow and monitor income and expenditure against budgets
- Work closely with the Deputy Director and SLT to develop financial strategies and plans
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards
- Manage relationships with external auditors and other financial service providers
- Provide financial advice and support to other departments within the charity
- Prepare financial reports for donors, funders, and other stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is highly advantageous
- At least 1 years’ experience in a senior finance role, ideally in the charity sector Excellent knowledge of financial management and accounting practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience of managing budgets and financial reporting
- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards
